Careers

Caregiving work that is valued

We are looking for qualified caregivers across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area — people who take pride in careful, patient, respectful work.

Why join us

Caregiving with a team that knows you

We support families across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area with non-medical care at home. It is patient, practical work, and the people who do it well are the reason families stay with us.

  • Personal work

Work that stays personal — companionship, daily routines and support in someone’s own home

  • A small team

A small, growing team of qualified caregivers.

  • Matched, not assigned

Caregivers matched to the person and the schedule, rather than assigned at random

  • Insured and bonded

Caregivers are fully insured and bonded

The role

What the work involves

Caregiving here is practical, everyday support in someone’s own home, arranged around the routines that already work for them.

  • Personal care

Respectful assistance with washing, dressing and daily routines, always at a comfortable pace.

  • Companionship

Conversation, shared activities and a familiar, friendly presence through the day.

  • Light housekeeping

Keeping the home tidy, comfortable and safe to move around in.

  • Meal preparation

Home-cooked meals prepared around personal tastes and dietary preferences.

  • Medication reminders

Gentle, timely prompts so nothing is forgotten as part of the daily routine.

  • Senior and individual support

Flexible support shaped around each person’s routines, preferences and independence.

The scope of the work

This is non-medical care. Anything medical falls outside what we offer, and outside what any caregiver here is asked to do. Medication support means timely reminders as part of the daily routine.

Screening

What every caregiver completes

Families are trusting us with the person they love and with their home. Everyone who works with us completes the same checks, and we would rather you knew exactly what they are before you apply.

  1. You apply Step 1 of 4

Send us the form below with your CV. Nothing is committed by applying, and nothing is decided at this stage.

  2. We talk Step 2 of 4

If your experience fits what families are asking for, we will talk about the work, your availability and preferences.

  3. References Step 3 of 4

We ask for references once we have spoken, and we contact them ourselves. We will always tell you before we do.

  4. Background checks Step 4 of 4

A police background check and vulnerable sector screening are completed before you are introduced to anyone.

Care philosophy

The care you would be giving

Every caregiver here works to the same three standards. If they sound like the way you already work, we would like to hear from you.

We see the whole person

Practical needs met with professionalism, and preferences, routines and individuality respected alongside them.

Warmth and patience

Care given with kindness and deep respect, at the pace that suits each person and each day.

Trusted and accountable

Fully insured and bonded caregivers, police background checked and reference verified before they enter a home.
