These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the terms on which care is provided — that is a separate written agreement between Great Homecare Services Agency Ltd. and the person arranging care, and nothing on this page changes it.
Who we are
This site is operated by Great Homecare Services Agency Ltd., a non-medical home care agency based in York, Ontario, serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our contact details are in the footer of every page and on our contact page.
What this site is for
This website describes the support we offer and gives you ways to get in touch. It is information, not an offer of service and not a contract. Care begins only once we have spoken, agreed what is needed, and put a written service agreement in place.
Nothing on this site guarantees that a particular kind of support, a particular caregiver, or a particular schedule will be available.
This is not medical advice
Great Homecare Services provides non-medical care at home. Anything medical falls outside what we offer, and nothing on this website should be read as medical or clinical guidance, or relied on in place of speaking to a doctor, pharmacist, nurse or other regulated health professional.

Registered Social Worker services
Where we describe Registered Social Worker services, those are professional services provided within the appropriate scope of practice and in accordance with applicable professional and regulatory requirements. The information on this site about them is a description of the service, not professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by reading it.
Using this site
You may read this site, print pages from it, and share links to it. Please do not:
- copy or republish our text, photographs or branding without our written permission
- use our forms to send advertising, bulk messages or anything unlawful
- attempt to gain access to any part of the site that is not public
- interfere with the site’s operation, or with anyone else’s use of it
What you send us
When you use our contact or careers form, please send only what you are comfortable sending, and only information you are entitled to share. If you are enquiring on behalf of a family member, please make sure they are content for you to share their details with us.

The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to Great Homecare Services Agency Ltd. or are used with permission. “From Our Heart to Yours®” is our registered mark.
Other people’s sites
Where we link to another organization, or embed something they provide — the map on our contact page, for example — we do not control that content and we are not responsible for it. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Keeping the site available and accurate
We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be up to date or uninterrupted. We may change, move or remove pages, and we may update these terms.
If we change these terms, the revised version appears on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss arising from your use of this website, or from relying on information on it, where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including anything arising from our own negligence causing death or personal injury, or from fraud. Nothing here affects your rights under Ontario consumer protection legislation.
These terms do not limit our responsibilities under a service agreement for care. Those are set out in that agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
